Efficiency: option to block pop-up link information

Example: news aggregator sites Techmeme, Memeorandum, Mediagazer, Wesmirch. Links for related stories are shown beneath each headline. As things are now: touching a link yields a pop-up bubble containing article plus author name. This bubble is (1) difficult to touch to gain access to the desired link and (2) difficult to touch somewhere on screen to make the bubble vanish. Tedious and time-consuming. Inefficient. Allow me to touch the link and GO! No bubble needed! (FWIW I have “Link preview” disabled!)
